As artists urge Ivanka Trump to act as the vocalisation of reason in the administration of her father, newly-elected President Donald Trump, it's worth noting that the young business woman is an enthusiastic art collector.

The subject of the "Dear Ivanka" protest movement is an avid social media user, and shots of the apartment she shares with husband, Jared Kushner, have recently emerged on Instagram and elsewhere. These images reveal a home filled with contemporary art: she counts Cy Twombly, Wade Guyton, and Joe Bradley among her favorite artists, and she told Artsy that her rules for collecting are that "we don't buy art that we don't love and nosotros only purchase something if nosotros BOTH love it and want to alive with it."

Will Trump'south taste guide her father's hand as he prepares to redecorate the White Firm? Volition she, different Sylvester Stallone, play any role in overseeing the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)?
